Pets: Dogs are welcome! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per stay, with a weight limit of 45 lbs each. Larger dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior approval. A non-refundable pet fee of $75 per dog applies for the entire stay. Cats and other pets are not permitted. Please note that pets are NOT allowed in the pool. If pet hair is found in the pool filter, a $300 cleaning fee may apply.
Pool Information: We do have the pool serviced twice a week from March to September and once a week September to end of February. We do our best to keep sand out of the pool but because we are right next to the dunes, you inevitably will see some sand at the bottom of the pool.
We require that the guest booking the home signs a rental agreement and we do require a security deposit hold on a cc that is released after your trip as long as there are no incidentals or damages (much like a hotel does).
We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels and a few trash bags to get you started but you will want to bring more if you will be staying for more than a few days. We also provide dishwasher pods, laundry pods, and plenty of hand soap and dish soap.
Coffee: We have a dual drip and keurig coffee maker. We do provide coffee and pods but please bring your own if you want more of a selection.
Towels: We do provide towels for the house but we ask that they stay at the house. We also provide beach towels.We do have a washer/dryer onsite if you need to do laundry.
Parking: There is parking for three to four cars depending on the size. The HOA does not allow street parking so if you have additional vehicles, you can park them in the lot to the right as you enter the subdivision from 361.
Security Camera: There is a camera at the front of the home for security purposes only. Please do not tamper with the camera hub.
Trash: There is a dumpster in our cul de sac. Please take all trash to the dumpster.
Bugs: We have a pest control company that comes to the property once a month. Unfortunately, because of the climate, roaches loves Port A and if you find one, please let us know immediately and we will have the pest control company come back out to spot treat.
If you would like to rent a golf cart, we have a partnership with Port A Carts. They will deliver and pick up for free!

The place itself was great. The location was not far from town and very convenient to the private beach access. The development will be nice once itβs all finished, but a little noisy with construction. Host was extremely helpful, communicative and responsive. Overall we loved our time there!

This was such a fantastic stay!! It was smaller than expected but we had everything we needed and the location was amazing! Highly recommend getting a golf cart while youβre here- it made the walk to the beach so simple! Was also fun to go to town via the beach on the golf cart and go around town.

This house is absolutely charming, incredibly comfortable and more well stocked with supplies and amenities than most vacation rentals! We had just about everything we needed to cook all weekend. The beds are so comfy, the WiFi is ripping fast and it was so nice having a new tv in every room. Jessica was so responsive for anything we need and really went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We couldnβt have been more comfortable! The only thing that wasnβt perfect was the low water pressure - but that was the perfect reason to rock the beach waves :) We canβt wait to come back!

This was a multi-generational visit to the beach involving grandparents, parents and their children. The house was in great condition and very clean. Plenty of room for the family and having three bathrooms was very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped for the stay. The family room was large enough for all of us to relax after a day at the beach. We rented a golf cart (Thanks Jessica for the recommendation!) to help get to and from the nearby beach and it was nice to have a dedicated cart path take us right to the sand. It is not a bad walk, but convenient having the cart when there is a lot to haul. The beaches here seemed less crowded as this new subdivision is a little separated from the larger Port A complexes. Jessica communicated all the necessary details and was available as needed. A very nice weekend stay for the family at the Island Girl!

Five stars! We had a great stay. The Airbnb was very clean, close to the beach, and the kitchen was stocked with way more essentials than most Airbnbs weβve stayed at, which was such a nice touch. The pool did look a little bigger in the photos, but it still did the trick. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Weβd definitely stay here again!

Jessica is the best host! She is very responsive to any questions. She was able to help our family when our prior Airbnb canceled 10 days prior to our reservation. She even was able to get an extra night for a discounted rate. She is the best hostess we have ever had!
